Attention! When removing and installing the sensor, do not touch its connector (plastic part) with the tool.

1. Remove the coolant temperature sensor (Fig. 7.12).
2. Place the sensitive element of the sensor in hot water and measure the resistance.
Nominal resistance value:
- at a temperature of 20°C – 2.1–2.7 kOhm;
- at a temperature of 80°C – 0.26–0.36 kOhm.
3. If the resistance value differs significantly from the nominal value, replace the sensor.
4. Apply 3M NUT Locking Part #4171 or equivalent to the sensor threads.
5. Reinstall the coolant temperature sensor and tighten it to 30 Nm.
6. Connect the connector to the sensor.
