Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
To remove, follow these steps in sequence.
1. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the air filter.

3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal cable 1 (Fig. 7.20).
4. Disconnect the throttle position sensor (TPS) connector 5.
5. Disconnect the idle air control (ISC) connector 7.
6. Disconnect the vacuum tube and remove it together with the hose assembly 4.
7. Loosen the clamps and remove the cooling system hoses 2.
8. Loosen the bolts and remove the throttle body 8 and gasket 3.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

Position the gasket so that its protruding portion is located as shown in Fig. 7.21, and then install it between the intake manifold and the throttle body.
