Caution: When removing and installing the sensor, do not touch its connector with a tool (plastic part).
1. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

2. Place the sensitive element of the sensor in hot water and measure the resistance.
Nominal value:
- 2.1-2.7 kOhm (at 20°C)
- 0.26-0.36 kOhm (at 80°C)
3. If the resistance value differs significantly from the nominal value, replace the sensor.

4. Apply sealant to the sensor threads.
Recommended Sealant: 3M NUT Locking Part No. 4171 or equivalent
5. Install the coolant temperature sensor and tighten it to a torque of 30 N·m.
6. Connect the connector to the sensor.
