Checking the coolant temperature sensor (Mitsubishi Carisma)

1. Drain the coolant from the engine.

2. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

3. Immerse the sensor in water at a temperature of +70°C and measure its resistance.

The nominal value of resistance is (104±13,5) Ohm.



4. After completing the test, apply 3M Adhesive nut locking No.4171 to the threaded part of the sensor (Fig. 19.9).

5. Fill the engine with coolant.
