Speakers — Removal and Installation (Mitsubishi Carisma)

Removal

To remove the speakers, follow these steps.

Front speakers

1. Loosen the screws and remove handle 3 (Fig. 19.47) of the hood lock drive.

2. Loosen the screws and remove the lower panel 2 from the driver's side.

3. Loosen the screws and remove the speaker 1. Disconnect the wires from the speaker.

4. Loosen the screws and remove the corner panel 4 from the front passenger side.

5. Loosen the screws and remove the speaker. 5. Disconnect the wires from the speaker.

Rear speakers

1. Remove cover 1 (Fig. 19.48) from the speaker.

2. Loosen the screws and remove the side shelf 2.

3. Loosen the screws and remove the speaker. 3. Disconnect the wires from the speaker.

4. Remove the rear side trim.

5. Loosen the screws and remove the speaker mounting bracket 4.
