Checking the fully closed throttle position switch (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.

2. Check the circuit between terminals 3 and 4 of the connector on the throttle position sensor side.

Good condition:

Accelerator pedal	State
Pressed	Circuit open (∞ Ohm)
Released	The circuit is closed (0 Ohm)

3. If the condition of the circuits does not correspond to those specified above, replace the throttle position sensor.

Note: After replacement, it is necessary to adjust the throttle position sensor and the fully closed throttle position switch.
