Caution! Do not touch the Fixed SAS screw unless absolutely necessary, as its position has been adjusted with high precision at the factory.
Attention! If such a need arises, then re-configuration is carried out as follows.
1. Loosen the throttle cable tension sufficiently.
2. Loosen the lock nut of the Fixed SAS screw (throttle lever stop screw).

3. Rotate the Fixed SAS screw counterclockwise until the screw extends sufficiently, also close the throttle valve completely (Fig. 7.6).
4. Turn the Fixed SAS screw until it touches the throttle lever (i.e. until the throttle valve starts to open).

5. From this position, turn the adjusting screw another 1–11/4 turns.
6. While holding the Fixed SAS screw from turning in this position, tighten the lock nut securely.
7. Adjust the throttle cable tension.
8. Adjust the base idle speed.
9. For vehicles without the TCL system, adjust the position of the fully closed throttle position switch and the throttle position sensor.
10. For vehicles with TCL system, adjust the position of the fully closed throttle position switch and the accelerator pedal position sensor.
