1. For the correct operation of the gearbox, adjusting the throttle cable is very important. The cable controls a valve inside the gearbox that controls the gearshift, shift quality, and sensitivity when shifting to a lower gear with the throttle partially open. If the cable is adjusted too short, gear changes may occur too early and shift slips may occur. If the cable is adjusted too long, the gearshift may be delayed and the shift to a lower gear with the throttle partially open may be unstable.

2. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Check that the choke is open and the throttle lever is in the normal idle position. Turn off the engine.

3. Lift the cable cap B (see illustration) to open the stopper and cap A, then loosen the lower cable bracket bolt.

6.3. Lift the throttle cable housing (TV) B and check the clearance between the stopper and the cap A - to make the adjustment, loosen the lower cable bracket nut

4. Move the lower cable so that the stopper is located from cap A at the distance specified in the specification.

5. Tighten the cable bracket bolt to the specified torque and check the clearance again.

6. Open the throttle lever as far as possible and make sure the cable moves freely.
