Turn the screw counterclockwise until the screw extends to the desired amount, also close the throttle valve completely.
Turn the screw until it touches the throttle lever (the starting point of the throttle opening).
From this position, turn the adjusting screw another 1-1/4 turns.
While holding the throttle lever stop screw from turning, tighten the lock nut securely.
Adjust the throttle cable tension. •Adjust the idle speed.
Cars without TCL system
Adjust the position of the closed throttle position switch and the throttle position sensor.
Cars with TCL system
Adjust the position of the closed throttle position switch and the accelerator pedal position sensor.
