Insert a 0.5 mm thick feeler gauge (2) between the accelerator lever (1) and the throttle lever (3) to a depth of 3 mm.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
After loosening the accelerator pedal position sensor mounting bolts, turn the sensor clockwise until it stops. In this position, the closed throttle position switch sensor should be on.
Slowly turn the sensor (1) counterclockwise until the sensor switches off. Then tighten the sensor mounting bolts securely.
Select the appropriate mode on the tester.
Check the output voltage value of the accelerator pedal position sensor (400-1000 mV).
