Fuel pump — operating instructions (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

If the fuel pump does not work, check it using the following method, and if it is working properly, check the power supply circuit.

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position

Connect the service connector (1) of the fuel pump (black) directly to the "+" of the battery and check if the sound of the pump operating can be heard.

CAUTION: To improve the audibility of the sound of the operating pump, unscrew the fuel tank filler cap.

Check for pressure by squeezing the fuel hose.
