Coolant Temperature Sensor — Check (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

Place the sensitive element of the sensor in hot water and measure the resistance.



Nominal value 2.1-2.7 kOhm (at 20°C); 0.26-0.36 kOhm (at 80°C).

If the resistance value differs from the nominal value, replace the sensor.

Once the coolant temperature sensor is in place, tighten it and connect the connector to the sensor.
