Intake Manifold Air Temperature Sensor — Check (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

Disconnect the air flow sensor connector (1).

Measure the resistance between terminals 5 and 6. Nominal value: 2.3-3.0 kOhm (at 20°C); 0.30-0.42 kOhm (at 80°C).

Measure the resistance by heating the sensor (1) with a hair dryer.

As the sensor heats up, the sensor resistance should decrease.

If the resistance does not correspond to the required value or it does not change depending on the temperature, replace the air flow sensor.
