Check the supply voltage. To do this, connect a voltmeter between contact 6 and ground. Turn on the ignition. The required value is 4.5-4.9 V.
Turn off the ignition.
Check the resistance of the sensor To do this, connect an ohmmeter to contacts 4 and 6 (124 hp engine: contacts 6 and 8) of the air mass meter connector.

- 0°C - 6.0 kOhm
- 20°C - 2.7 kOhm
- 80°C - 0.4 kOhm
Measure the resistance by heating the sensor with a hair dryer. As the temperature increases, the resistance should decrease. If there are deviations from the required values or if the resistance remains constant during heating, replace the air mass meter.
