1. If the coolant temperature is low (below 83°C), check the operation of the cooling fan.

1) Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.

2) The cooling fan must be stopped.

3) Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector.

4) Touch the wire to the ground.

5) Check if the cooling fan is rotating.

6) Connect the coolant temperature sensor connector.

2. If the coolant temperature is high (below 93°C), check the operation of the cooling fan.

1) Start the engine and wait until the coolant temperature is above 93°C.

2) Check if the cooling fan is rotating. If not, replace the coolant temperature sensor.

3. Check the cooling system fan.

1) Disconnect the cooling fan connector.

2) Connect the battery and ammeter to the connector.

3) The cooling fan should rotate constantly and check the ammeter readings.

Standard readings: 5.7 - 7.7 A.

4) Connect the cooling fan connector.
