Removal and installation
− Before you begin removing parts, perform the following operations:
- a) Remove the rear spoiler assembly.
- b) Remove the rear door windshield wiper motor,
- c) Remove the trim and waterproof film from the rear door.
− The parts are removed in the order of numbers shown in the figure "Removing the rear door assembly".
Removal the rear door assembly. 1 - rear door window washer hose, 2 - wire harness connector, 3 - rear door shock absorber strut, 4 - connector for connecting the antenna feeder cable, 5 - rear door assembly, 6 - rear door hinge, 7 - rear door damper (remove the rear door trim), 8 - door lock retainer, 9 - rear door seal.
- When removing parts, pay attention to the operation of removing the rear door shock absorber strut.
Attention:
- - Do not attempt to disassemble the rear door shock absorber or expose it to heat.
- - Make sure there are no foreign particles on the shock absorber rod.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- When installing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Installing the rear door seal.
Install the rear door seal so that its identification mark is in the center of the body opening.
2. Installing the door lock retainer. Install the door lock retainer so that the deviation of its center line relative to the center line of the door lock counterpart does not exceed 1.5 mm.
- After completing the installation of the parts, perform the following operations:
- a) Install the rear door trim and waterproof film.
- b) Install the rear door windshield wiper motor.
- c) Install the rear spoiler.
- d) Adjust the rear door.
