Removal the spare wheel (for vehicles with a compact spare wheel)
Raise the luggage compartment floor and secure hook A as shown in the figure. The hook is located on the inside of the luggage compartment floor.
Lift the luggage compartment floor storage bin and secure the hook loop into slot B.
Loosen the spare wheel mounting bolt by turning the wheel wrench counterclockwise. Remove the spare wheel.
Storing a spare tire
Put the spare away for storage by performing the above operations in reverse order.
Compact spare tire
The purpose of a compact spare tire is, firstly, to save space in the luggage compartment, and, secondly, due to its lower weight, to facilitate the procedure of replacing a flat tire.
Warning! The pressure must be checked periodically and the specified pressure must be maintained in the spare tire during its storage. Driving with insufficient pressure in the tire may lead to a traffic accident (crash). If there is no other way out (except driving with insufficient pressure in the tire), reduce the speed of movement and find an opportunity to bring the air pressure to the specified value as soon as possible.
The compact spare tire is for temporary use only and must be replaced immediately after repair or replacement of the full-size tire.
When using a compact spare tire, do not exceed vehicle speed of 80 km/h.
The stability and control of a compact spare tire is worse than that of a full-size tire. When using a compact spare tire, avoid driving with sharp acceleration, sharp braking and sharp steering wheel turns.
Avoid automatic car washes and driving over objects that can damage the underside of your vehicle. Since the compact spare tire is smaller than a full-size tire, the ground clearance (the distance between the underside of the vehicle and the road surface) of the vehicle is significantly reduced.
The compact spare tire is designed specifically for this specific vehicle and should not be used on any other vehicle.
Do not fit snow chains to the compact spare tire, as the chain will not be securely attached to the smaller tire. This may cause damage to the tire and loss of the snow chain. If a front tire with a snow chain is flat, first remove the rear tire, fit the compact spare tire in its place, then fit the removed rear tire in place of the flat front tire, and snow chains can be used again.
Do not mount the compact spare tire on any other wheel rim, and do not mount a standard tire, winter tire, wheel trim, or rim on the compact spare wheel rim. If you attempt to do so, it will either damage the above-mentioned parts or damage other parts of the vehicle.
After installing the compact spare tire, the overall height of the car is slightly reduced, since the diameter of the compact spare tire is smaller than the diameter of the standard tire. Therefore, when driving over unevenness and protrusions in the road, take this into account and do not drive the car in the same manner as on standard wheels.
Do not install more than one compact spare tire at a time.
When the tire wear indicator appears on the tread, the tire must be replaced.
