The spare wheel is located either in the front under the floor of the car on a downward-opening "cup" or in the rear in the trunk.

In a vehicle with an open platform, depending on the design of the vehicle, the spare tire may also be located in the safe compartment under the cargo platform.

The spare wheel in the trunk is screwed to the left side wall. To remove the wheel, unscrew the mounting screws by hand.

For safety reasons, the spare wheel should always be firmly bolted down while driving.

To remove the spare wheel from underneath the vehicle floor, use the wheel wrench to loosen the Allen bolt and pull the release hook.

Caution! The spare wheel "cup" falls down - risk of injury!

Then remove the wheel in a forward direction.

Indication

On vehicles with a front spoiler, it may be necessary to reduce the load on the vehicle at the front before removing the spare tire. If necessary, you can use a car jack to slightly raise the vehicle at the front or remove the spoiler.

To reinstall the spare wheel using the key,

used to mount the wheels, slide the spare wheel down onto the "cup" and with a strong jerk turn the "cup" upward so that the catch hook engages. Then screw the hex bolt back in and tighten it until it stops.

For safety reasons, the spare wheel holder must always be screwed in to prevent the spare wheel holder from being accidentally released.
