Coolant

The factory fill of long life coolant provides freeze protection down to approximately -25°C. To ensure adequate freeze protection is provided, the coolant should be tested before the onset of cold weather and a coolant additive should be added if necessary.

If, due to climatic conditions, a higher degree of frost protection is required, the content of the agent can be increased, but only up to 60% (frost protection approx. -40°C), since otherwise the degree of frost protection will be reduced again and, in addition, the cooling effect will be impaired.

Vehicles for export countries with cold climates are equipped with freeze protection down to approximately -35°C directly at the factory.

Windscreen washer

The filler hole for the windshield washer reservoir is located in the front footwell on the left side, next to the pedals under the floor covering. The reservoir capacity is approximately 3.5 liters of washer fluid. In cars with headlight washer, the filling amount is approximately 6.5 liters

In cars with a rear window washer, there is an additional tank on the right side of the trunk. The capacity of this tank is about 1 liter.

Filling the water tank

Raise the floor covering or open the cover and unscrew the threaded cap. Fill with washing liquid to the brim and screw the cap back on. After turning on the ignition, check the operation of the system.

We recommend always adding glass cleaner (antifreeze in winter) to the water, as water alone is not enough to quickly and intensively clean glass and headlights.
