1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor wire from the connector located just behind the upper left corner of the radiator and remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
39.1. Before removing the oxygen sensor (1), disconnect the wire at the connector (2), unscrew the bolts (3) and remove the exhaust manifold heat shield
2. Remove the heat shield to gain access and unscrew the oxygen sensor.
3. Screw the new oxygen sensor into the exhaust manifold. Tighten the sensor securely.
4. Replace the heat shield and tighten its mounting bolts securely.
