The entire underbody surface, including the cavities under the rear wings, is covered with a layer of polyvinyl chloride protection. Particularly exposed areas under the front wings are protected from stone impacts by mudguards. All cavities are coated with a special paste. In addition, individual body parts are made of galvanized iron. Before winter and after washing the underbody, the condition of the protective layer should be checked and preserved using a paste for preserving the underbody.

In places exposed to sand and rocks, dirt, clay and sand can accumulate. It is especially important to remove this dirt, which contains a lot of salt, especially in winter. If this dirt is not completely removed, there is a risk that it will not dry out. This can lead to through rust, which will appear on the outside, which over time will not be possible to stop with any anti-corrosion agents.

Preservation of the engine compartment: To prevent corrosion of the front part of the car (front wings, side members or paneling) and drive units, the engine compartment, including the brake system components located there, as well as the front suspension and steering, must be treated with a highly effective preservative. Naturally, after washing the engine compartment.

Caution: Before washing the engine, cover the alternator and brake fluid reservoir with plastic bags. Although the alternator bearings are sealed, when washing, for example by steam treatment, there is a risk that the bearings may be leached by fat-dissolving additives. This may result in bearing noise or even destruction.

After treatment, odors from burning paste may appear in the car in the hottest places. After applying the paste, clean all joints and lubricate with M0S2 paste.
