1. Warm up the engine until the coolant temperature reaches 80 - 90°C. Then turn off the engine before draining the engine oil.

2. Remove the engine crankcase protective cover.

3. Drain the engine oil (see section "Engine oil change").

4. Using a special key, remove the engine oil filter from underneath the vehicle.

5. Check and clean the oil filter mating surface of the oil filter bracket on the oil pump housing.

6. Lubricate the O-ring of the new oil filter with a small amount of clean engine oil.

7. Installing the oil filter.

a) Install the new oil filter and tighten it by hand until the filter O-ring seal fits snugly against the filter bracket on the oil pump housing.

b) Finally tighten (tighten) the oil filter within 3/4 turn to one turn using a special wrench (depending on the type of wrench).

Nominal tightening torque: 17 ±3 Nm

Note: It is recommended to tighten the filter with a special wrench, as hand tightening may be weak and cause oil leaks.

8. Replace the drain plug and fill with new engine oil (see section "Engine oil change").
