1. Start the engine and warm it up to a temperature of 80–90°C.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. On F9Q diesel engines, remove the protective cover.
4. To drain the oil, unscrew the drain plug in the engine oil pan and drain the engine oil into a suitable container.
5. Using an oil filter wrench, unscrew the oil filter.
6. Clean the mating surface for the oil filter on the engine cylinder block.
7. Lubricate the oil filter O-ring with a small amount of engine oil.
8. Using an oil filter wrench, install the filter and tighten it to 14 N·m.
9. On F9Q diesel engines, install the protective cover.
10. Fill the engine with engine oil.
11. Screw on the oil filler cap.
12. Check the oil level.
13. Start the engine, press the accelerator pedal 2-3 times and check for oil leaks from the filter.
