Removal and installation



− Before you begin removing parts, perform the following operations:
  • a) Remove the engine crankcase protective cover.
  • b) Remove the exhaust pipe.

− The parts are removed in the order of numbers shown in the figure "Removing the central longitudinal beam and power unit supports".

− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

- When installing the parts, pay attention to the operation for installing the front support of the power unit.

Install the front support so that the hole in the powertrain support bracket is located toward the front of the vehicle.



- After completing the installation of the parts, perform the following operations:
  • a) Install the exhaust pipe.
  • b) Install the engine crankcase protective cover.

Examination



1. Check the power unit mounts for cracks, delamination and deformation.

2. Check the central longitudinal beam for cracks and deformation.

Removal the central longitudinal beam and powertrain supports. 1 - connecting bolt of the front support, 2 - central longitudinal beam and front support assembly, 3 - front support of the power unit, 4 - connecting bolt of the rear support, 5 - support bracket of the power unit, 6 - rear support of the power unit.


Note: The symbol marks fastening elements that should first be pre-tightened and finally tightened after the engine has been completely lowered onto the supports with the vehicle in a horizontal position.
