1. Remove the rear wheels, disconnect the handbrake cable.
2. Place 2 jacks under the bridge and unscrew the crossbar mounting bolt.
3. Disconnect the shock absorbers from the bridge.
4. Lower the bridge and remove the springs.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
6. Tighten the shock absorber bolt to 110–130 N·m (1989-91) or 216–245 N·m (1992-98), and the cross member bolt to 110–130 N·m (1989-91) or 216–245 N·m (1992-98).
