The oil pressure sensor shows the oil pressure when the engine is running.
The instrument arrow must be within the limits shown in the figure.
If the gauge shows low oil pressure or no pressure at all, turn off the engine immediately and do not drive the vehicle until the source of the problem has been corrected. This sensor does not indicate the amount of oil in the engine crankcase. The oil level should be checked using the oil dipstick with the vehicle engine turned off.
Caution: If the oil level is too low, it may cause engine damage.
