The tachometer shows the engine crankshaft speed in revolutions per minute. This allows the driver to select the most efficient gear.

This sensor also allows you to monitor engine performance. If the instrument needle enters the red sector, the engine speed is too high. Select the appropriate gear so that the needle is not in the red zone.
