2. Check the basic ignition timing, which for SOHC engines should be 5°±2°BTDC, for DOHC engines 5°±3°BTDC. Adjust if necessary.
3. Turn off the ignition and connect the MUT-II to the diagnostic socket.
4. Start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes.
5. Check the engine idling speed, which for the 4G92 engine should be equal to (750±100) min-1, for 4G93 engine (800±100) min-1.
Attention! The idle speed is controlled automatically by the idle speed control system (ISC).
6. If the idle speed does not correspond to the nominal value, check the elements of the injection system (MPI).
