In some cases, when driving downhill or at the start of a journey when the automatic transmission is not yet warmed up, the transmission may not automatically shift to a lower gear. The driver must engage 2nd or 3rd gear himself in order to use the engine braking effect. Therefore, maintain a safe driving style, without relying on the automatic transmission control system.
Note: When the vehicle is running in or immediately after connecting the cable to the battery terminal, gear shifting may not be as smooth. This does not indicate a fault in the transmission. Gear shifting will become smooth after a few shifts in automatic mode.

The gearbox has four forward gears and one reverse gear. Each gear is engaged automatically depending on the position of the automatic gearbox selector, the vehicle speed and the position of the accelerator pedal. The automatic gearbox selector has two slots for moving the gearbox selector: the main slot 1 and the slot for manual gear shifting 2. There are four positions in the main slot for moving the gearbox selector. The selector is equipped with a locking button A to prevent inadvertent engagement of the wrong gear.
Caution! If you press the lock button every time you change the selector position, you may accidentally move it to the following position "P" (Park) or "R" (Reverse). When performing operations marked with the symbol "J", do not press the button.

When moving the selector lever from the "P" (Park) or "N" (Neutral) positions to another position, always press the brake pedal.
When starting off, do not move the selector from the neutral position "N" or the position "P" ("Park") to another position while pressing the accelerator pedal. This is very dangerous, as the car may "jump" forward or backward.
Note: If you do not hold down the brake pedal, the automatic transmission selector lock prevents the selector from being moved from the "P" ("Park") position to any other position.
