Removal the steering wheel sensor
Caution: On vehicles equipped with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), before removing the air bag module, refer to CHAPTER - Precautions and Air bag module and clock spring.
1. Place the front wheels in a straight-ahead position.
2. Remove the airbag module and steering wheel assembly.
3. Remove the lower and upper steering column covers.
4. Remove the clock spring/combination switch assembly (1).
5. Remove the steering wheel sensors (2).
Installing a steering wheel sensor
1. Install the steering wheel sensor (2).

2. Install the clock spring/combination switch assembly (1).
3. Install the lower and upper steering column covers.
4. Install the airbag module and steering wheel assembly.
5. Check the position of the steering wheel with the wheels strictly parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
