Checking the brake drum of the parking brake system
1. Measure the thickness of the brake pads.
Default value:
- Short wheelbase vehicle: 3.0 mm.
- Long wheelbase vehicle: 4.0 mm.
Limit value:
- Short wheelbase vehicle: 1.0 mm.
- Long wheelbase vehicle: 1.0 mm.

2. If the brake pad thickness is beyond the limit values, it is necessary to replace the brake pads on both sides of the vehicle.
3. Measure the inner diameter of the brake drum in two places.
Default value:
- Short wheelbase vehicle: 199 mm.
- Long wheelbase vehicle: 210 mm.
Limit value:
- Short wheelbase vehicle: 200 mm.
- Long wheelbase vehicle: 211 mm.

4. If the value of the inner diameter of the brake drum is outside the limit values, the brake drum must be replaced.
