Removal the headlight (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

Note: The removal procedure is the same for both left and right side headlights.




1. Remove the front bumper assembly.

2. Remove the headlamp assembly (1).

3. Remove the headlight bulb socket cover (vehicles with gas discharge lamps) (2).

4. Remove the low beam bulb (vehicles with gas discharge lamps) (3).

Caution: Do not touch the surface of the lamp with your hands or a dirty cloth. If its surface gets dirty, clean it with alcohol or solvent and let it dry before installation.


1) Turn the headlight bulb socket cover to remove it.



2) Disconnect the connector.

3) Turn the igniter to remove it.

4) Loosen the bulb retaining spring and remove the bulb.



5. Remove the low beam bulb (vehicles without gas discharge lamps) (4).



6. Remove the high beam bulb (5).

7. Remove the bulb holder (6).

8. Remove the front turn signal bulb (7).

9. Remove the bulb holder (8).

10. Remove the parking light bulb (9).

11. Remove the headlight control unit (vehicles with gas discharge lamps) (10).

12. Remove the headlight bracket (11).
