The lining of the water collection compartment under the windshield should be removed when removing the windshield wiper or heater mechanism.
Removal
Remove the brush holders, see item 26.3.
Remove screws "2" from the trim.
Unfasten the side panels "3". To do this, press the clamp rods with a narrow screwdriver and hook the clamps.
COLT/LANCER production up to 8.88: Disconnect the decorative grille of the heater air intake.
Installation
Insert and secure the facings, or insert the clamps with the rods pulled out and push the rods in.
Place the brush holders and tighten them in the correct position with a torque of 15 Nm.
