Removal water from the fine fuel filter (diesel engines only) (Mitsubishi Carisma)

If water has accumulated in the fine fuel filter, remove it as follows.

1. Place a drainage container under the filter.



2. Connect one end of the hose to the drain plug 1 (Fig. 1.58), and lower the other end into the drainage container.

3. Unscrew plug 1 a few turns, and when clean fuel starts to flow, screw it back in.

4. Remove air from the fuel system.
