Checking the oil level in the rear differential housing (4WD models) (Mitsubishi Lancer 9)

1. Unscrew the filler plug on the rear differential housing.

2. Make sure the oil level is within 8 mm of the lower edge of the filler hole (filler plug hole).



3. If the oil level in the differential housing is below the specified level, add oil to the required level.

Recommended Oil - DiaQueen Super Hypoid Gear Oil

Oil viscosity according to SAE:

• Above 10°C - SAE80W
• Below 10°C - SAE90
• Oil quality according to API - GL-5

4. Tighten the filler plug to the specified torque.

Tightening torque - 59-69 Nm
