Removal the fuel manifold/injectors

Remove the fuel manifold together with the injectors installed on it.

Caution: Be careful not to drop the injectors when removing the fuel rail.

Installing injectors/fuel pressure regulator/high pressure fuel hose

Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the O-ring before installation.

Caution: Be careful not to allow oil to enter the fuel rail.

While turning the injectors, high-pressure fuel hose and fuel pressure regulator to the right and left, carefully install the fuel manifold so as not to damage the O-rings.

After installation, check whether the high pressure hose flange rotates smoothly in the fuel manifold.

If the fuel hose flange does not rotate smoothly in the fuel rail, the O-ring may be pinched. In this case, disconnect the high-pressure hose from the fuel rail, insert it back into the fuel rail, and check if the hose flange rotates smoothly.

Tighten the high pressure fuel hose flange mounting bolts to the standard tightening torque and the fuel pressure regulator mounting bolts to the specified tightening torque.

Tightening torque: 9 Nm (fuel pressure regulator).
