Checking for leaks
1. Start the engine and stop it after 1 minute.
2. Press the brake pedal several times – the pedal travel should decrease with each press. Otherwise, the amplifier is not sealed.
Checking the work
1. Press the brake pedal several times.
2. Press the brake pedal lightly and start the engine – the pedal should "go" to the floor.
Removal and installation
1. Carefully disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster 2.
2. Remove the master cylinder.
3. Disconnect the booster rod from the pedal.
4. Unscrew the bolts and nuts securing the amplifier to the engine compartment bulkhead and remove the amplifier, remove the gaskets and the spacer.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
6. Tighten all connections to the required torques.
