Hood support

The article is reprinted from a web resource: MITSUBISHIMAN

Install the hood on the support, securing the end of the support in the special hole marked with an arrow.

Closing the hood

To close the hood, hold it with your hand and detach the support by turning it slightly counterclockwise. Secure the support to the designated fixture. Raise the hood a little (approximately 30 cm) and release it so that it closes under its own weight. If the hood does not close under its own weight, press lightly on it with your hand.

Warning! Never open the hood while driving.

Warning! Do not start the car if the hood is not closed. Press the safety latch lever and lift the hood.

Caution: Only open the bonnet when the windscreen wipers are in their original position. This way you will avoid damage to the hood and windshield wipers.

Caution: Be careful not to pinch your fingers when closing the hood.
