Using the central lock

All door locks, including the tailgate lock, can be opened or closed by pressing the central locking button. The central locking button is located on both front doors.

Locking doors with a key

When you use the key to open or close the driver's door or the front passenger door, all other doors are automatically unlocked or locked.

Insert the key into the driver's door lock and turn it once. The driver's door will open.



Turn the key in the same direction one more turn and the locks of all the other doors will open.

Locking door locks using the internal locking button

Press the driver's door lock button to the closed position and all other doors will lock.

Lockable rear door locks

If the rear door locks are closed and the locking device lever is set to the closed LOCK position, the doors cannot be opened from the inside, even if the locking button is in the open position.

In this case, the door can only be opened from the outside by pulling the outside door handle.

Move the locking lever to the open FREE position and the lock will be unlocked.

Luggage compartment door

To open the tailgate, insert the key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise. Turn the key back to the vertical position and remove it. Pull the lever located inside the door handle towards you and open the door.



To close the tailgate, insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise. Once you have verified that the door is locked, turn the key back to the vertical position and remove it from the lock.

Tailgate locking mechanism

When the tailgate is open, the locking mechanism holds it in place and prevents it from closing.

Press the lever and the trunk door will be locked. Pull the lever towards you and the door will move freely.

Caution: Be careful not to pinch your fingers when you slam the door.
