Press the corresponding button on the remote control, and all doors and the tailgate will be unlocked or locked. When button 1 LOCK (Lock) or button 2 UNLOCK (Unlock) is pressed, indicator lamp 3 lights up.

Locking door locks

Press the 1 LOCK button and all doors and the tailgate will be locked. The hazard warning lights will flash twice.

Unlocking door locks

Press the 2 UNLOCK button and all doors and the tailgate will be unlocked. The hazard warning lights will flash briefly.

Notes:

(1) The remote control door lock system does not operate when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON position.

(2) If the UNLOCK button is pressed and none of the doors are opened within 30 seconds, the doors will automatically lock.

(3) The remote door lock system operates at a distance of up to 4 meters from the vehicle. However, this distance may change if the vehicle is located near television towers, radio stations, power plants, airports and other units that emit strong electromagnetic waves.

(4) If any of the following conditions occur, replace the remote control battery.

  • door lock lock does not work (unlocked);
  • the control lamp on the remote control does not light or lights up dimly.

(5) Do not allow the remote control to overheat or expose it to direct sunlight for long periods of time.

(6) If you lose your remote control, you can purchase a new one from an authorized dealer.

(7) If necessary, you can purchase an additional remote control from an authorized Mitsubishi dealer.

Warnings: To prevent damage to the electronic remote control:
  • do not subject the remote control to strong impacts;
  • do not expose the remote control to high temperatures, leave them in direct sunlight, or get them wet;
  • do not disassemble the remote control.
