Tank pressure reducing valve (Mitsubishi Pajero 1)

The valve is designed to maintain pressure in the tank by removing vapors when their pressure increases above normal. The vapors are discharged into a tank with an absorber. The valve is mounted on the hose, between the fitting on the tank and the ball check valve.

Removal, installation and inspection

1. Tighten the clamps and remove the hoses from the valve.

2. Place the hoses on the new valve, orienting it correctly.

3. The valve is checked by blowing in both directions. Air should only pass from the fuel tank side.
