To turn on the heater, press switch 11 (see Fig. 1.13). To turn off the heater, press the switch again. Since the car has a rear window heater timer, the heater will be automatically turned off after 20 minutes. To turn it off earlier, press the switch again.
The indicator light in the switch will remain on while the heater is on. If the vehicle is equipped with heated outside rearview mirrors, pressing the rear window defroster switch will also defog the outside rearview mirrors.
Attention! 1. The power of the rear window heater is only enough to remove frost (fogging), but not enough to melt snow stuck to the glass. Before turning on the heater, remove snow from the rear window.
Caution! 2. To avoid discharging the battery, do not use the rear window defroster while starting the engine or when the engine is off. Turn off the defroster as soon as the glass is clean.

Attention! 3. Wipe the inside surface of the rear window with a soft cloth, especially carefully along the glass heating wires to avoid damaging them.
Caution! 4. Do not place objects near the rear window that could accidentally touch the glass heating filaments and damage them.
