Before starting work on the electrical system, familiarize yourself with the safety precautions:
- a) Be extremely careful when servicing the engine electrical equipment. If the check or connection is not performed correctly, the components can be easily damaged.
- b) When the engine is off, do not leave the ignition on for a long period of time.
- c) Do not disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.
- d) When starting the engine from an emergency power source, observe the polarity.
- d) Always disconnect the negative cable first and connect it last, otherwise a short circuit may occur when using a tool to loosen the wire clamps.
