1. Warning: Always disconnect the negative cable first and connect it last, otherwise a short circuit may occur when using a tool to loosen the wire clamps. Disconnect both cables from the battery terminals (see illustration).




3.1 To remove the battery. 1. Disconnect the negative cable; 2. Disconnect the positive cable; 3. Unscrew the nuts and disconnect the clamp.


2. Remove the battery retaining clip.

3. Remove the battery. Be careful, as the battery is heavy.

4. After removing the battery, inspect the pan for corrosion (see chapter 1).

5. If a battery replacement is necessary, make sure you purchase the same battery, same size, capacity, cold start power, etc.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
