Contents: Removal the front wheel brake hose ⤓ Installation ⤓
The brake system, which connects the wheels to the master cylinder, uses tubes along with high-pressure hoses.

Attention: Install only ready-made original tubes, not those sold by the meter.

Brake hoses provide flexible connections between moving and fixed parts of the vehicle.

Raise the car, see item 29.

Removal the front wheel brake hose

Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper and remove.

Loosen the brake pipe union nut while holding the brake hose nut.

Use pliers to tighten the bracket.

Plug the line in the direction of the main brake cylinder with a suitable plug, or first suck out the brake fluid from the reservoir.

Installation

Install only factory approved brake hoses.

Insert the new brake hose into the holder and secure with a bracket. Screw on the union nut of the brake pipe, tighten it lightly, with a force of 15 Nm.

Install the new brake hose so that when the wheels are straight, it is not under tension.

After installation, check with the wheel unloaded (the car is raised) that the hose follows all the movements of the wheel without touching anything.

Caution: Protect brake hoses from contact with oils or kerosene, do not paint or coat with underbody protection.

Remove air from the brake system.

Lower the car.
