Front Seat (1992-98)
1. Headrest; 2. Tray (passenger side, except for Vans); 3. Covers for mounting eyes; 4. Seat
Cars 1992-98.
1. Remove the tray from under the seat.
2. Remove the seat guide covers. The pads are attached with latches or tongues.
3. When removing, remember the installation location of each pad, keep in mind that the pad is securely fastened and must be removed carefully so as not to break the fasteners.
4. Disconnect the battery from ground and the seat wire connectors (if the seats are equipped with heating). First make sure that the wires belong to the seat electrical equipment.
5. Move the seat forward and remove the rear mounting bolts, then remove the front bolts, moving the seat back.
6. Remove the seat. It is not recommended to disassemble the seats yourself.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Cars 1983-91.
On these vehicles, the seat is attached to the floor via a separate suspension unit.
1. It is recommended to remove the seat first and then the seat suspension frame by unscrewing the 4 bolts.
2. Remove the tray from under the seat.
3. Remove the seat guide covers. The pads are attached with latches or tongues.
