Front output shaft (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

Disassembling the front output shaft

1. Remove the ball bearing (1).

1) Fix the ball bearing with special tool MD998801.

2) Compress the front output shaft with a press and remove the ball bearing from the rotor sensor.



2. Remove the rotor sensor (2).

3. Remove the ball bearing (3).

1) Fix the ball bearing with special tool MD998801.

2) Compress the front output shaft with a press and remove the ball bearing.



4. Remove the front output shaft (4).

Front Output Shaft Assembly

1. Install the front output shaft (4).

2. Install the ball bearing (3).

1) Install the ball bearing using special tool MD998812 and MD998821.



3. Install the rotor sensor (2).

4. Install the ball bearing (1).

1) Install the ball bearing with rotor sensor using special tool MD998812, MD998813 and MD998821.
