2. Remove the ring gear (2).
3. Remove the spring ring (3).
4. Remove the ball bearing (4).
1) Remove the ball bearing using special tool MD998801.
5. Remove the rear output shaft (5).
Assembling the rear output shaft
1. Install the rear output shaft (5).
2. Install the ball bearing (4).
1) Install the ball bearing using special tool MD998812, MD998814 and MD998824.

3. Install the spring ring (3).
1) Select and install a suitable snap ring so that the rear output shaft bearing axial clearance is within the standard values.
Standard value: 0 - 0.08 mm.
4. Install the ring gear (2).
5. Install the spring ring (1).
1) Select and install a suitable snap ring so that the clearance between the ring gear and the rear output shaft is within the standard values.
Standard value: 0 - 0.08 mm.
