Removal

Remove the crankshaft position sensor.

Remove the oil pan.

Remove the gearbox assembly.

Remove the clutch basket and driven clutch disc.

Secure the flywheel from turning by installing the special tool (1) on the flywheel ring gear.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the flywheel.

Drill two holes in the rear crankshaft oil seal. Screw two self-tapping screws into the drilled holes in the oil seal and, using pliers, pull the oil seal out by the screw heads.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following:

Lubricate the entire working edge of the oil seal with a small amount of engine oil.

Install the seal (1), pressing it in so that the end surface is located at the level of the chamfer of the seal housing.

Lubricate the mating surfaces of the flywheel mounting bolts with oil.

Apply engine oil to the flywheel bore threads.

Apply sealant to the threads of the mounting bolt holes.

Fix the flywheel and tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 95-105 Nm.

Places to apply sealant and lubricant
1 - crankshaft; 2 - flywheel; 3 - drive plate; 4 - places of application of motor oil; 5 - places of sealant application; A - manual transmission; B - automatic transmission.
