Removal
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the ignition distributor.
Remove the camshaft drive belt.
Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the engine management system wiring harness (1).
Disconnect the high tension wires (2) from the spark plugs.
Remove the crankcase ventilation hose 3 and the forced crankcase ventilation system pipe (4).
After unscrewing the bolts, remove the cylinder head cover together with the gasket (5).
Secure the camshaft gear (6) from turning, unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the camshaft gear.
Remove the camshaft oil seal (7).
Remove the spark plug guide tube sealing rings (8).
After unscrewing the bolts securing the intake valve rocker arm shaft (9), remove the assembly together with the bolts.
After unscrewing the exhaust valve rocker arm shaft mounting bolts (10), remove the assembly together with the bolts.
After unscrewing the camshaft bearing cap mounting bolts, remove the caps and camshaft (11).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account that when pressing in the seal (1) of the camshaft, it is necessary to use a special tool (2).
To prevent the camshaft pulley from turning, use a special tool, then tighten the bolt to a torque of 88 Nm.
